OBJECTIVE

OUR OBJECTIVE

We, from virtual flight, could not avoid to make this flight in the simulator.

The main objective is to do the same route described in the book and to honor the great pilots from that time when the flights were only visual.

We choose the Cessna, with 155 KIAS medium speed (Cessna 182RG or Cessna Caravan Anphibian). It is a high speed if compared with the aircrafts of that time, but is a way of allowing all to fly since these aircrafts exist in all versions of FS.

Since the majority of virtual pilots like to flight big aircrafts like Boeing or Airbus, this will be a great opportunity for everybody to flight together in na easy to fly aircraft like Cessna.

Callsigns with real air companies will be allowed. We ask to use bazilian callsigns like PP-, PR- and PT-.

Every leg will have a "guide" which knows the region in order to allow the aircrafts to follow him while observing the details of the region and screnery.

We will land and take off in every airport, but making pauses during the flights to have some rest. It would be impossible to make a 24h flight.

We will follow the route, with programed landings at the aiports selected by the route team.

The flight will hapen every saturday, Brazilian time. Just follow the schedule at the main page of the event.
